劳动与社会保障专业

专业特色:劳动与社会保障专业培养具备比较扎实的管理学、经济学和社会保障学专业知识,能运用计算机等现代技术手段进行调查分析和实际操作,并熟练掌握一门外语的能力。劳动与社会保障专业与民生、政策服务问题密切相关。我校的劳动与社会保障专业起步较早,发展也比较好。目前现有教师7人,全部获取985大学博士学位,其中教授3人、1人获得海外高校的博士学位。近五年全体教师主持国家级课题2项,省部级以上研究课题10余项,发表高质量学术论文20多篇,出版学术著作5部,专业研究水平位于国内财经大学同类学科前列、浙江省第二。尤其是长期护理保险、工伤保险、就业收入等方面的研究在国内高校有较高的知名度,以及在决策部门中有较大的影响力。

课程特色:课程设置多元,体现理论课程、实践课程和研究方法能力的紧密结合。目前本专业正致力于在政府部门、企事业单位建立多个实习基地,为培养学生的实践运用能力奠定坚实的基础。在课程设置上重视实践性、创新性和互动性,重点培养学生扎实的理论基础、分析现实问题的能力,使学生无论是继续研究生的学业深造,还是进入职场都具备完善的知识与技能储备。

就业特色:劳动与社会保障的学生因为具备良好而广泛的知识储备,就业渠道广泛。可以选择读研究生、考公务员,还可以去各类事业单位、企业,甚至运用学到的专业知识进行创业,继续选择深造的每年达到将近20%,其中不乏有中国人民大学、武汉大学、英国曼彻斯特大学等国内外著名高校。

 

Labor and Social Security

Major Characteristics: this major is to train up undergraduates to acquire knowledge about management, economics and sociology, to use advanced technology to investigate topics of interest, as well as master a foreign language. This major is closely related to people’s livelihood and welfare. Our department has a long history. It is one of the earliest departments to establish this major in Zhejiang. There are 7 teachers in this department, who were all graduated from key universities and got their doctor’s degree. One of them graduated from foreign university. There are 3 professors in our department. They published more than 20 papers, and 5 academic monographs in recent five years. There are 2 national research programs, and more than 10 provincial research programs implemented by our teachers. We ranked No. 2 in Zhejiang according to our research ability. We offer professional suggestions about social security policies to government.

Curriculum setting: the courses can be grouped into three parts, theoretical courses, practical courses and methodology. These courses are offered to development the practical ability, cooperative ability and creativity. Which are all important to future study and career development. On the other hand, we build up training center together with government and enterprises, to cultivate practical ability of undergraduates.

Career prospects: There are many career choices for the graduates. Half of them go to financial enterprises, others become public officials. Most of them work in the department of Human Resources. 20 percent of our student study abroad or go to famous universities to get a Master’s degree.
